Program Specialist position
Function/Summary
The Program Specialist, Grants, is responsible to assist the Director in managing awarded grants and ensuring compliance with grant requirements. Key functions include monitoring of, accounting for, and reporting of all assigned grants.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience within an environment utilizing accounting, auditing, and budget skills may be substituted.
Experience:
• Two to five years of proven experience in grants management, business, or a related field.
• Familiarity with grant application processes, budgeting, and reporting preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Understanding of grant regulations, compliance, and reporting requirements
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple grants simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing grants
• Experience ensuring compliance with grant terms and conditions
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
