The CAD Designer position is located in Claremont, NC.

 

You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will....

Modify drawings per brand direction.
Ensure design content is captured.
Create component libraries.
Utilize design/CAD software to create product models through the use of component libraries and on-screen development.
Ensure all product changes are updated to models.
Create patterns per Product Development blueprint specifications for new and existing styles.
Organize, analyze data, and prepare technical reports and specification sheets for vendors to ensure proper workflow for plant productivity.
Per brand direction develop new product raw materials and revise existing specs.
Other duties assigned by Manager.

Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates….

Associates degree in CAD, or equal work experience with CAD/pattern software.
2-3 years’ experience creating pattern/CAD to be used in the production of upholstered furniture.
Up to 2-3 years of experience working in furniture manufacturing.
Experience in reading and understanding design of raw material components for furniture.
Possess excellent time-management skills, including the ability to work independently with little supervision.
Ability to interpret instructions and operate computer efficiently.

Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure delivery requirements.
Have the ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to keep accurate records.
