We are open to a variety of disciplinary, interdisciplinary, and methodological approaches. Candidates with a Ph.D. in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies are strongly encouraged to apply. With a record of excellence in teaching and research and a strong commitment to building interdisciplinary relationships across campus, the successful candidates will teach six (6) courses over two semesters at all curricular levels. Successful candidates will teach multiple sections of a lower-level divisional course called “Perspectives in Gender and Sexuality.” Other courses may include internship seminars, advanced electives, and small first-year seminars. Prospective candidates should have a strong research record. Ph.D. is required at the time of the appointment, and teaching experience in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies is preferred.
