Title Staff Accountant

Reports to: Controller

Location:   Henderson, NC   (On-Site Only)             

Travel:   None  

Job Type: Full Time    

Schedule:   Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm       

Starting Pay: $45,000 - $55,000                                                           

Job Summary:

Join a part of a winning, growing team that appreciates you. Staff Accountant needed for growing manufacturing company with a fast-paced environment.  This is a key role that reports to the Controller and will interface with all departments and assist with all areas of accounting.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Book journal entries and prepare financial reports
• Support cost accounting and other accounting activities
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Apply customer payments and collect past due invoices
• Sales tax compliance
• Bank reconciliations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Detail oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in excel
• ERP experience preferred

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
• 1-2 years work experience
• Manufacturing experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
