Upper Bucks County Technical School is currently accepting applications for a second full-time Law Enforcement Instructor beginning in August 2024. The school is seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and energetic educator who is student-focused and has knowledge of all or a combination of criminal law and procedures, police and corrections concepts and skills, court systems, and security required. The ability to integrate current industry trends across the curriculum path.

Second Law Enforcement Instructor, at the Upper Bucks County Technical School, Perkasie, PA. Starting August 2024– As per UBCTS PSEA contract. The applicant should possess or have the ability to obtain the proper PDE CTE Teaching Certification. The position requires a minimum of 4 years paid experience within Law Enforcement, PDE (Career and Technical Level I) Instructional Certification (Law Enforcement 2048 Occupations) CIP 43.0107 preferred. Experience in all or a combination of criminal law and procedures, police and corrections concepts and skills, court systems, and security required. The ability to integrate current industry trends across the curriculum path. Willingness to pursue professional development activities to enhance the program as well as self. Individuals without appropriate teaching certification through the PDE must be willing to complete coursework requirements through Temple University to obtain Career and Technical Education teacher certification. This program is approved through PDE as Criminal Justice/Police Science (CIP Code: 43.0107).
