The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is looking for qualified applicants for part-time clinical non-tenure stream faculty in the Department of Acute and Tertiary Care. Target area is medical-surgical nursing.

Minimum Qualifications:

Instructor – A) Master’s degree in nursing or a related field; B) Evidence of or potential for excellence in clinical and/or classroom teaching; C) Demonstrated expertise in the indicated area of nursing; D) RN license in Pennsylvania.

Assistant Professor - A) Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field; B) Evidence of or potential for excellence in clinical and/or classroom teaching; C) Demonstrated expertise in the indicated area of nursing; D) RN license in Pennsylvania.

Moreover, desired qualifications include the following: Demonstrates evidence of current knowledge base in the area of specialty: medical-surgical nursing.
