  • University retirees may work up to 29.6 hours per week (0.74 FTE).
  • University students may work up to 28 hours per week (0.70 FTE).
  • University international students may work up to 20 hours per week (0.50 FTE).
Job Description

The University's temporary staffing needs change daily! These positions are typical of the requests we get for office staff:
  • Administrative assistant
  • Office support associate
  • Fiscal Assistant
  • Medical Office Staff—Patient Service Representative
Salary

Most assignments pay from $13.00 to $16.00 per hour. Pay varies from department to department and depends on duties, responsibilities, and the department's budget.

Shifts

Hours vary depending on the nature of each assignment. Most office assignments occur Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM. Hospital shifts vary. On rare occasions, early morning, evening and/or weekend hours may be required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A stable work history
  • An excellent attendance record
  • Verifiable references
  • A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired (education or training beyond high school may be substituted for experience)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
  • All applicants interested in office positions should have at least one year of office experience.
  • Strong keyboarding skills are a plus.
