Job Description

Dr. Mary Beth Miller at the University of Missouri is hiring 1-2 postdoctoral research fellows in alcohol and addiction research. Current projects target sleep and alcohol-induced blackouts as mechanisms of alcohol-related harm and potential prevention/intervention targets. Positions are available through both the University of Missouri and the university's NIAAA-funded training grant (T32AA013526, PI McCarthy/Sher).

  • Ashley Helle – Addiction Science Dissemination & Implementation Lab
  • Denis McCarthy – Alcohol Cognitions Lab
  • Doug Steinley – Multivariate Statistics Lab, with primary interest in cluster analysis and social network analysis
  • Tim Trull – Personality and Emotion Lab
  • Sean Lane – Regulation of Emotion, Addiction, and Conflict Trajectories

Qualifications

Applicants should have a PhD in Clinical Psychology or related disciplines, independent research goals, and an excellent publication record. Positions are available for up to 3 years of training.
