Job Description

Reporting to the Head Women's Soccer Coach the Assistant Coach will be responsible for assisting in all phases of a Division I Intercollegiate Women's Soccer program including:

Promoting the philosophy and objectives of the University of Missouri Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, including adhering to all departmental, university, SEC and NCAA rules and regulations.

Demonstrating the ability to relate to, and motivate, student-athletes and to work with a variety of university staff, alumni, and the outside community

Assisting with the development in the overall student-athlete experience by mentoring student-athletes including evaluating their performance in practice and competition while providing leadership and instruction in areas of deficiencies as required.

Assisting with implementing recruiting strategy, statistical analysis of prospective student-athlete date and assisting in off campus recruiting and evaluation of potential student-athletes.

Participating in the collection and analysis of tactical and statistical data of opponent tendencies and assisting in designing scouting reports and match strategies.

Performing other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach and/or the assigned sport administrator or Director of Athletics.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in off-campus recruiting, budgeting, strong organization skills, excellent communication skills in addition to strong leadership abilities.

Shift

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in related/ relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience coaching a NCAA Division I soccer team.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
