Job Summary
The Athletic Trainer's primary job responsibilities include but not limited to the following: maintain the daily evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for all student- athletes for the men's basketball team. Will also assist in the coordination on of coverage for all athletic events, practices and summer sports camps; prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Develops and implements the rehabilitation programs and provide 24 hour/day access to the student-athletes. This position will be responsible for assisting with pre-participation physicals for assigned sport athletes. Coordinates moving of athletic training equipment and supplies for both home and away basketball games; and coordinate practice set up. Ensures medical records are complete for assigned teams and assist with NCAA and Institutional Drug Testing Program. Executes and communicate physician recommendations on athlete injuries to basketball coaches. Maintains Sportsware Documents daily for assigned sports.
Ensure proper licenses are maintained, specifically NATA Certification and complies with NCAA, SEC and University rules and policies Other administrative duties as assigned by the Sr. Associate AD/Sports Medicine.

NCAA Division I or NBA experience as full-time ATC, 5 years clinical experience preferred
