Job Description
Assumes responsibility for strategically creating and guiding the work of student-focused career programming, specifically dynamic and robust experiential learning efforts. Performs all duties in full support of the University's mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University's students.

Description of Key Responsibility: Develops and implements key components of a centralized, student-centered, educational program that strategically engages and leverages the expertise of faculty, staff, employers, alumni, and community leaders. Leads the comprehensive efforts of creating and organizing programming and career events both at the campus and college or student group specific level in alignment with department goals. Collaborates with department colleagues to deliver successful programming.


Description of Key Responsibility: Creates key partnerships with key faculty and staff across campus and oversees the creation and utilization of the Career Champions Committee to better education the campus on career programming.


Description of Key Responsibility: Develops and delivers career and professional development workshops for various audiences (students and faculty). Reviews efficacy of programming and implement changes as appropriate.


Description of Key Responsibility: Collaborates effectively with peers in the Career Studio and Alumni Engagement in an effort to assist in employer relations initiatives, career fairs, affinity programming, and events, as necessary and/or appropriate.


Description of Key Responsibility: Assists the Associate VP in short- and long-range departmental planning initiatives and resource allocation. Actively supports the identification and implementation of policy and/or procedural changes designed to continuously improve departmental operations. Assists in the oversight of departmental budgets, ensuring prudent fiscal management and oversight at all times.


Description of Key Responsibility: Performs other related duties as assigned.



Formal Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required.

Work Experience:
Normal office situation.Requires travel, including overnight stays.
