The Web Designer is responsible for designing, coding and modifying School of Medicine webpages, according to the needs of various departments and administrative units. The Web Designer will strive to create cohesive and visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and facilitate navigation of the school's website. The Designer will be responsible for ensuring that on-line content is presented in compliance with Tulane University and School of Medicine branding and visual identity guidelines. The Designer will work in conjunction with the Dean’s Office, IT, and the University Privacy Officer to ensure that information transmitted or collected through the School Website is secured in a manner sufficient to meet regulatory and school privacy requirements. Finally, the Designer will provide support and training to content management personnel in all departments, centers, and institutes across the school.
