Customer Service

The Tessman Company is a Green Industry distributor located in St. Paul, MN. We are looking for an outgoing person to assist with walk in customers, customer phone calls, shipping and receiving, filling customer orders, assisting our outside sales staff and assisting our warehouse personnel. Horticulture, turf and lawn care knowledge and experience are a plus. We will train on all aspects of our business (turf products, golf course supplies, greenhouse supplies, landscape supplies, ice melt).

This is a full-time position with hourly pay based on experience.

Our hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m and Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Job Requirements:

• Enjoy speaking with customers in person and on the phone
• Have a passion for the Green Industry - Turf Management, Horticulture, Landscaping
• Learn and assist with all facets of the day to day operations of our wholesale location
• Have a high degree of attention to detail and the ability to accurately fill orders
• Be self-motivated and eager to learn new things
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Warehouse and forklift - we will train you
• Willing to work overtime seasonally
