Job Purpose
The overall purpose of this job is to facilitate the preparation and management of research proposals and projects. This involves ensuring compliance with funding agency guidelines, budgeting, managing project finances, and adhering to university and sponsor requirements, all while maintaining effective communication and coordination with various stakeholders.

Essential Functions
Proposal preparation and review. Project Budget Administration/Management. Financial and Budgetary Tasks. Communication and Coordination. Preparing subcontracts, agreements, Personnel Action Forms, and Time and Effort Report

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field (Business, Accounting, Finance) with at least two years of professional experience in budget administration, accounting, or a related area.

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with software tools such as Banner.

Work Hours: Typical hours are 8-4:30 M-F.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience. This is a full-time grant funded position ending June 30th, 2024; its continuation is contingent upon future funding.
