Accountant

Sky Federal Credit Union Accountant – Full-time, Livingston Branch. Manage accounting functions including cash flow, cost management, financial analysis, financial reporting and recordkeeping, General Ledger, and investment tracking. Responsible for GL reconciliation, analysis of financial accounts, and preparation of journal entries. Provide end-of-month close and produce monthly financial statements. Process and reconcile payroll using third party software. Ensure all activities are in accordance with GAAP and records are maintained accurately and in compliance with laws and regulations. Must have good understanding of GAAP and possess strong problem solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. A degree in Accounting or Finance with experience is preferred. Excellent benefits.
