General Statement

The Adjunct Lab Faculty will teach course(s) within the Dental Assisting discipline to a diverse student population at our Main campus dental assisting lab and/or clinical sites in our service area. Responsibilities will include instructional preparation, assessment of student performance, and providing assistance to students.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
  • Holds a current Massachusetts Dental Assisting License in good standing.
  • Holds a DANB CDA certification by August 25, 2023.
  • Possesses a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with four-handed dentistry.
  • Possesses experience with dental practice management software along with strong computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduated from a CODA accredited school.
  • Associate's degree in a related field.
  • Active member of the American Dental Assisting Association.
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity in the curriculum as appropriate.
  • Passionate commitment to striving for excellence in working with students, faculty, and staff and in responding to opportunities that extend the Mission of the College.
