General Statement

The Adjunct Lab Faculty will teach course(s) within the Dental Assisting discipline to a diverse student population at our Main campus dental assisting lab and/or clinical sites in our service area. Responsibilities will include instructional preparation, assessment of student performance, and providing assistance to students.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications

Holds a current Massachusetts Dental Assisting License in good standing.
Holds a DANB CDA certification by August 25, 2023.
Possesses a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with four-handed dentistry.
Possesses experience with dental practice management software along with strong computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduated from a CODA accredited school.
Associate's degree in a related field.
Active member of the American Dental Assisting Association.
Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity in the curriculum as appropriate.
Passionate commitment to striving for excellence in working with students, faculty, and staff and in responding to opportunities that extend the Mission of the College.
