Laborers/Cleaners needed in Fort Liberty

$15 per hour.  Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Must have a valid Driver’s License, own transportation and pass a background check to get on Fort Liberty.

This position primarily involves performing various cleaning duties and general labor tasks within military housing complexes. The individual in this role ensures that living spaces for military personnel and their families are well maintained.

Responsibilities include:

Cleaning Duties:

• Clean and sanitize various areas within military housing units, including living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and polish floors.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces such as furniture, countertops, and appliances.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Disinfect high-touch areas and surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment.

Maintenance and Repair Tasks:

• Report any maintenance or repair issues that require professional attention to the appropriate authorities.

Customer Service:

• Provide friendly and courteous service to military personnel and their families residing in the housing units.
• Respond promptly and professionally to any requests or concerns raised by residents.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to undergo background checks and adhere to military regulations.

Working Conditions:

• Work may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions for outdoor maintenance tasks.
