VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT - MECHANIC II

The Portage County Engineer is accepting applications from persons interested in the full-time position of Mechanic II.  The selected candidate is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all vehicles and equipment, and for providing building maintenance as needed. Under general direction of the Garage Superintendent and/or General Superintendent.

Minimum qualifications include related training and 2 to 5 years related work experience.  Qualified candidates must possess a CDL with Class A endorsement and must be available to work overtime during emergencies and as needed. Successful applicant must pass a drug screen. Rate of pay is $26.45 per hour.
