(Part-Time) 2024-25 School Year

The Northwood School District is seeking up to a .6 FTE innovative and student-centered Speech/Language Pathologist beginning the 2024-25 school year.  The District is open to working with an individual as a direct employee or independent contractor.  The caseload is varied and ranges from approximately 19-26 students on the caseload. 

 The Pathologist is responsible for: 

  • Providing therapy
  • Evaluating students in the areas of both speech and/or language disabilities 
  • Report writing 
  • Participating in district-wide screenings 
  • IEP writing and meeting attendance 
  • The Pathologist should be able to demonstrate the ability to be a student advocate and a team collaborator to ensure students' success  
  • The ability to interact in a positive, constructive manner, with students, families, and staff members is essential.

The selected candidate will be working with a cohesive district team with small class sizes in a supportive environment. 

Requirements: 

  • Master’s Degree and the current Wisconsin state teaching license (1820) or eligible for a provisional license. 
  • Clinical Certificate of Competency (CCC) is preferred but not required.  
  • ASHA dues are included as part of this position.
