lead teacher childcare center

Northfield Daycare Center(NDC) is seeking to hire a qualified lead teacher. NDC  is a play based, mostly outdoor program that is licensed for 25 preschool age  children.

Candidate will have a love of children as number one qualification. Interest and  appreciation as to the of  value of outdoor education as well as the ability to spend time outside with children required. Previous experience in childcare is essential and candidate will also need  Early Childhood education that is specific to the Social, Emotional, Physical and Intellectual development of preschool age children. Teachers are expected to complete Continuing Education credits each year to meet licensing requirements. 

The position is 30-35 hours per week.  Candidate will earn a competitive wage with benefits.
