Job Title: Landscaper

Job Type: Spring - Fall ($19 - $25/hour)

Employment Duration: Summer Season

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of landscape design and installation projects.
• Work alongside experienced landscapers to learn and implement various landscaping techniques.
• Perform tasks such as planting, mulching, weeding, and pruning to maintain the health and beauty of landscapes.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment under supervision.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Assist in the construction of hardscape features, such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Learn about plant materials, soil types, and irrigation systems used in landscaping projects.
• Gain exposure to sustainable landscaping practices and environmentally friendly techniques.
• Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm for landscaping, horticulture, and outdoor work.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field, is a plus
• Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
• Availability to work on weekends, if needed.
