Mitchell Community College will host Made in Iredell, a Manufacturing Day event on Oct. 3, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the college's Statesville Campus (500 West Broad Street) and Technology & Workforce Development Center (701 West Front Street).
The event will celebrate Iredell County manufacturing jobs and products. Iredell County manufacturers featured include DENSO Manufacturing in NC, NGK Ceramics USA, Doosan Portable Power, Niagara Bottling, deBotech, Inc., EarthKind, Maclean-Curtis, McComb Steel Co. and Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions. The event will include displays showcasing products made in Iredell County and information on how Mitchell Community College can provide training for the many job opportunities. Demonstrations and tours of Mitchell Community College manufacturing labs will also be included. Pick up your event passport, visit exhibits, and enter to win prizes! This event is free and open to the public.
