The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, which is responsible for care and treatment of patients admitted to JIRDC. Responsibilities of the Licensed Clinical Social Worker include performing biopsychosocial assessments and developing treatment plans with other team members. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for working collaboratively to develop a discharge plan with the patient, support system and community resources. This individual is also responsible for providing family and individual interventions, psychosocial education as well as facilitate therapeutic groups. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will also supervise two Social Workers at the facility. This involves developing job performances standards, reviewing and monitoring performance in accordance with professional standards, state and Federal guidelines and institutional and departmental guidelines.
Salary Grade GN12; Recruitment Range - $ 46,203.00 - $ 78,218.00
Position 60048765 - Program Services/Social Work, 1st shift (8:00a - 5:00p), Monday - Friday with occasionally weekends or after hours.

Documented experience with the IDD and/or Mental Health population.Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsMaster's degree from an appropriately accredited school of social work. Licensure is required from NC SW Certification and Licensure Board. -
Necessary Special Qualification Requirements:
One must fulfill all requirements for Licensure in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.Degrees must be from appropriately accredited colleges or universities.
