GENERAL DESCRIPTION
We are looking for applicants to join one of our Aquatic Lifeguarding staffs. We are hiring at all 5 of our Lexington City Aquatic Centers (full list below). We are looking for candidates who enjoy working outdoors and are reliable,

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Before first day on deck, you must have an American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certificate. You don’t need one to apply. We can direct you to outside and internal certification classes.
• Must be fifteen (15) years of age or older. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Prevention of accidents both in the water and on the deck.
• Provide rescue and emergency assistance in the event of an accident.
• Always maintain a sense of control over the entire pool area.
• Enforce pool rules and justly establish disciplinary actions.
• Attend all staff meetings and in-service training as set up.
• Assist in bathhouse and pool area cleaning.
