Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 8,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The university is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The university is very interested in hiring employees who have had extensive experience with diverse populations.

The Department of Art & Design at Kutztown University invites applications for multiple temporary full and/or part-time temporary positions for Spring 2024 in various visual arts disciplines. Courses requiring coverage include (but are not limited to): undergraduate courses in Photography (including darkroom), Foundations (including 2D, 3D and Drawing), and Time-Based Media. We seek applicants committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community of faculty, staff, and students in the department and across the university. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: master's degree in art or a related area; strong professional portfolio of personal and student artwork; teaching experience of at least one year or equivalent in related coursework to be taught. Successful interview and demonstration of relevant abilities required. Courses are taught face-to-face for Spring 2024.
