Join Colorado Mesa University’s Nursing Department as an Assistant Professor of Mental Health Nursing. This position can either be on the Tenure-Track or the Clinical-Track. Responsibilities include curriculum development, teaching, and student guidance in classroom and practice settings. Essential duties and responsibilities for this role include to teach and advise in the instructional program, supervise students’ clinical skills, maintain an active scholarship agenda or professional productivity, participate in faculty meetings and committees, faster good rapport with health facilities, faculty, administration, and students, and evaluate teaching methods. Applicants must possess a current Colorado RN license, have a minimum of two years of mental health nursing experience, a graduate degree and bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program, and documented reaching skills or a plan for acquiring them. The salary ranges from $55,000 to $60,000, commensurate with education and experience, comes with an excellent health and retirement benefits package, and offers the advantage of being a 9-month contract position.
