Mechanical Engineer

Identifeye HEALTH Inc. has an opening for a Mechanical Engineer in our Guilford, CT office. Design transfer to product of a complex precision electro-opto-mechanical model imaging. Work with development groups to develop the fundamental specs that will determine final system performance of a complex precision electro-opto-mechanical model imaging. Design, bring-up-debug & validate designs for function & performance from concept through product. Build system prototypes, develop & conduct experiments, perform V& V testing, gather data & analysis, validate performance of components, subassemblies, test setups & system. Specify, select, & qualify sys components, develop & benchmark system performance, develop & implement test procedures, & evaluate & select appropriate test instrumentation. Develop component, assembly, & system specs & tolerance that satisfy clinical & functional input requirements & validate fabricated system to ensure conformance to specifications. Document & test new & existing parts, assemblies, & procedures to evaluate performance, patient safety, facilitate manufacturing, & satisfy various regulatory requirements. Test alignment & assembly tooling design & development. Prototyping, verification & validation of subassemblies & product level system. Function efficiently as an individual contributor & in cross-functional teams. Launch new product development. Manage multiple tasks to ensure timely fulfillment of project objectives & deliverables. Collaborated in the fabrication of mock-ups & prototypes for testing / evaluation utilizing a variety of techniques including SLA, FDM, SLS, sheet metal & machining. Position requires bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Optical Engineering or similar field.
