A full-time (40 hour per week) Outreach Liaison position is available.
This position is responsible for building relationships with and implementing marketing and sales plans to maintain and grow referrals from physician practices, assisted and skilled nursing facilities and home health agencies. Position also responsible for assisting in the development of marketing materials with the goal of increasing awareness of Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County and services provided. Exercises discretion and judgment with the authority to make independent decisions on matters pertaining to improving relationships between HPCIC and referral sources. Assists with coordination of events and performs diversified projects in support of the activities and operations of the organization.
Associate's degree in communications, business, or marketing is preferred, with a minimum of three years' related experience in healthcare business. Sales experience also preferred. May substitute two additional years' experience for Associate's degree. Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management. Skilled in extracting and compiling technical data; report format for tables, graphs, slides and statistical reports. Mastery of essential general office procedures, health care terminology and systems preferred. Self-starter and effective problem-solver; excellent verbal, written communication skills and good interpersonal and organizational skills. Display a professional demeanor and maintains confidentiality.
