Construction Superintendent

Greer Building Contractors is a commercial construction company with a home office in Gadsden, Alabama. 

We are looking to hire a superintendent. To be successful in this position you will need at least three years of commercial construction experience . 

The construction superintendent is responsible for managing and directing workflow while following safety and quality standards, as well as coordinating with our project managers and maintaining daily field documents. 

The ideal person should have great communication skills with hands on experience in the construction field.

Responsibilities and requirements:

* The ability to read and interpret plans and specs

* Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, equipment, and materials

* Oversee and assign task to employees and subcontractors

* Responsible for job safety and quality control

* Travel to and between multiple job sites

* Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Skilled at negotiating and developing a relationship with owners and architects

* The ability to meet tight schedules and deadlines
