Human Resources Officer Geauga County Job and Family Services is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Officer to oversee the agency Human Resources functions and supervise the Human Resources Assistant position and clerical positions. Maintains personnel records of the agency employees, advises agency employees regarding human resources related issues, recruits, screens, interviews and recommends the selection of job applicants. Advises management staff on Human Resource related issues and assists with performance management strategies. Maintains compliance with Local, State and Federal laws. Completion of two years technical training in personnel practices, human relations, labor studies, public administration, or similar field and one year of experience in a human resources environment. or equivalent education, training and/or experience. Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and good driving record, ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and FBI/BCI&I background checks required.
