Hygienist

General dentist office in Central Virginia, near the Blue Ridge Mountains, looking for motivated dental hygienist. New building, state of the art equipment (including digital x-rays), paperless office. 4-5 days week. Competitive pay scale. Uniform allowance, 401k and health insurance benefits.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you are passionate about oral health and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties
- Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality
Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Understanding of infection control procedures in a dental setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
