ABD applicants may be considered but must have a Ph.D. (verified by official transcripts) at the time of appointment. The position begins August 2024.The position services the Artificial Intelligence in Data Science program. The successful candidate will teach a variety of courses including, but not limited to, Data Visualization, Data Mining, Big Data, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.The successful candidate will teach on-campus and/or on-line undergraduate courses in a 4/4 teaching load, develop and maintain an active scholarly agenda, conduct academic advising, and participate in service to the department, university, and community. In addition, membership and participation in state, regional, national, or international professional organizations is recommended.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Earned Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field from an accredited institution at the time of appointment.
