Salary Basis: 12 month

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with community college partners to promote and highlight Delta State University programs covered by Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with community college stakeholders, including faculty and staff, to effectively promote Delta State University programs.
  • Conduct regular meetings with community college faculty to educate them about the pathways and opportunities available to their students at Delta State University.
  • Serve as an articulation adviser, providing guidance to students regarding the applicability of their community college coursework at Delta State University within the framework of the MOUs.
  • Work closely with the Transfer Recruiter to facilitate the recruitment of community college students, ensuring all admission paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Attend and represent Delta State University at community college events, transfer fairs, and relevant outreach activities with the Transfer Recruiter.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the academic and administrative aspects of both Delta State University and partner community colleges.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeting community college students.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in higher education, especially related to transfer and articulation agreements.





Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of academic advising and transfer processes in higher education.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Salary:
12 monthCommensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources.
