Applicants must be 21 years of age and a maximum of 34 years of age at time of appointment, must be a high school graduate or have a GED, possess a valid Ohio driver's license and possess a valid Ohio Peace Officer Academy (OPOTA) certification. Applicants must submit proof thereof at the time of submitting the completed application. All letters of reference must be submitted prior to appointment.
