Virtual/Remote Neuroradiologist

Position Description:
Charlotte Radiology, a large (>100 physician) private subspecialty-based radiology practice, is seeking a neuro fellowship-trained radiologist to work remotely and provide predominantly neuroimaging and some body/generalist interpretation services during the afternoon and early evening EST (morning and afternoon PST). Start date 2024 or 2025.

Responsibilities include:

• All modalities of neuroimaging, including advanced modalities such as perfusion imaging and fMRI. All types of neuroimaging settings, including ED, inpatient, and outpatient imaging.
• Neuro/HN Oncologic imaging and optional multidisciplinary conference participation, as part of our valued partnership with Atrium Health and The Levine Cancer Institute.
• Some body/generalist imaging, including diagnostic imaging of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis (CT, US, plain films).
• Majority of work will be neuroradiology with approximately 80-90% of time spent reading neuro studies. Time on body/generalist shifts will typically involve a basic mix of ED, inpatient, and outpatient studies without advanced oncologic imaging (no MRI, Mammo, MSK, or NM imaging).
• Applicants must have American Board of Radiology certification (or be board eligible) with subspecialty training in neuroradiology.
