Position Summary
Austin Peay State University is currently seeking a full-time, temporary one-year instructor in the area of English Composition and World Literature. The Department offers both online and on-campus courses.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach English Composition I, English Composition II, or Traditions in World Literature depending on the needs of the department.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Physical Requirements
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- PhD/MA in English, MFA in Creative Writing, or MA in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in English.
- A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
